Santana Row and Rancho San Antonio Engagement Session

Why are two locations for an engagement session a good idea? Opposites attract. Daniel is an outdoors guy and Sabrina is more of a city girl.

So, we started at Santana Row and then moved to Rancho San Antonio for the second part of the session. Daniel put up with the hoards of people at Santana Row and Sabrina suffered through the thought of critters and bugs jumping out of the grass.
Sacrificing their own comfort for the others; now that's just plain sweet.

And we got awesome pictures at both locations.

You would think I ran an ad for cute brides this year! All my brides are so adorable!

Presidio San Francisco Engagement Session

So I'm catching up on some of the post I should have done before WPPI.

I shot Keith and Stacie's engagement session in San Francisco on 3/19/07. The day was perfectly overcast and gave us some awesome soft light in which to photograph.

These are some of my favorite pictures from the shoot. I just love this first image of Stacie; she is such a great model! The image reminds me a bit of a JCrew Ad.

Thanks to Jennifer, Diane, Lydia and Tobin for their wonderful images.

WWPI - What a Blast

Jenn (my fabulous 2nd shooter) and I went to Las Vegas last week to attend WPPI's (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) annual convention and trade show. It was fun, informative and exhausting all at the same time!

We were kept so busy that neither of us had a chance to even get a picture! They had an opening night gala on Sunday night, A champagne shootout on Monday evening, the First Ladies of Photography forum and the Pictage party on Tuesday night, and the awards ceremony on Wednesday evening. Wew, and we spent all day listening to platform speakers.

So I'm back with tons of new ideas and a few changes to look forward to. One big change that came from the trade show is that a new cFoto website is in the works and should be ready for release by the end of the month. Keep your fingers crossed. These things always seem to take longer than expected.

But enough about my fun. I promised the best of Assistants 2006 slideshow this week.
